The compact and lightweight DCR Remote Blasting Machine can fire electrical, electric breech, and shocktube (single or dual-prime) systems. Its powerful blasting circuit will fire at least four Seismic detonators (EU Class 4) in series, and at least three in parallel, at a range of up to ¾ mile LOS. Power-on, and Continuous Tests confirm safety and functionality at all levels of operation.

Available in the SC-1 (Single-Channel) Kit; the MC-5 (Five-Channel) Kit; or as an add-on to the MC-5 Starter Kit . Note: cannot function without a paired Controller.

An advanced, compact high-energy capacitive discharge blasting machine capable of initiating a minimum of 75 EBCs (tested through 340 ohms). Bridgewire and firing line continuity is testable through the integrated haptic (tactile feedback) circuit tester with redundant LED. Intrinsic safeties include automatic abort, internal shunt, boot-protected switches, touchproof output terminals with downward facing inputs, and fuse protected testing circuit.

SIMPLE No programming required, and less than 15 seconds from Off to Ready-to-Fire
1) SELECT: turn Remote selector switch to EB (electrical blasting/electric breech) or ST (shock tubes)
2) CONNECT: connect blasting load after Link LED starts flashing
3) LINK: generate a Secure Link by pressing, and immediately releasing Arm button; wait for solid Link LED
4) ARM: click and maintain Arm button; wait for the ready-to-fire vibration, and Arm LED (~5 to 7 seconds)
5) FIRE: maintain Arm, and click Fire button; once fired, release both buttons
 
SECURE Factory-paired set only share half-duplex communication with each other, and only after linking
Requires two separate and distinct operations to fire, and cannot fire until fully charged
If the Arm button is released (prior to pressing Fire) the Remote instantly aborts, and returns to a safe state
The Remote auto aborts if communication is lost with the Controller for a specific period of time
A Built-In Test confirms safety and functionality before connecting the explosive train; locks-out controls on a fault
