Hawkbill knives are great for opening powder bags. The hawkbill knife (sometimes known as a Talon Blade) blade has a concave curved edge which provides a tip that cuts. This type of blade is used for things like carpet knives or scoring blades and even slashing blades in tactical knives, like the one shown here.
