The Ruhl 18" Entry Ram is the largest of Ruhl’s current Entry Ram configurations, providing a heavy-duty handheld force multiplier for military, law enforcement, tactical, and professional forcible-entry applications.
Built around a structural steel body with a solid steel striking head, the 18-inch ram weighs approximately 35.5 lbs. and provides a substantial impact tool for gaining entry through doors. The ram can also be used to further seat pry tools during mechanical breaching operations.
Freely rotating handle sleeves are designed to help reduce shock transferred to the operator’s wrists during impact. A fill plug also allows weighted media to be added when desired, although Ruhl notes that user testimony indicates additional weight is generally not required.
