The Ops-Core FAST SF Gen II Ballistic Helmet is Ops-Core’s lightest-weight ballistic helmet system, engineered to reduce overall system weight while maintaining the ballistic protection of its predecessor. The next-generation design combines an updated FAST SF ballistic shell, LockDown Liner System, and Head-Loc Flex retention system, resulting in approximately a 10% reduction in overall system weight.
The LockDown Liner System uses strategically positioned, user-configurable pads to promote airflow and accommodate a variety of head shapes. Moisture-wicking fabric and reticulated foam enhance comfort, while the conformable nape pad and cable Occ-Dial provide increased rear-head contact and stability. The cable system is also designed to minimize interference with headband-style communication systems.
For accessory integration, the FAST SF Gen II features the PowerPath ARC Rail System, which provides a lightweight mounting platform and a behind-the-rail channel for routing NVG cables. A Modular Bungee Shroud (MBS) helps improve NVG retention while reducing snag hazards, and external VELCRO Brand loop panels allow convenient attachment of compatible headborne accessories.
