The QinetiQ SPUR™ Mini Squad Packable Utility Robot is a compact, lightweight ground robot designed for rapid deployment, reconnaissance, and increased situational awareness during dismounted operations. As QinetiQ’s lightest and smallest ground robot, the SPUR Mini is small enough to be transported in a cargo pocket or hip-worn pouch and can be thrown into windows or structures up to 18 feet high.
Designed for mobility in challenging environments, the SPUR Mini can navigate tall grass, sand, gravel, and other obstacles while its impact-absorbing wheels and dual flippers provide maneuverability over uneven terrain. It can operate independently for reconnaissance or function as a radio repeater to extend the operating range of larger robotic systems.
