NOVO Robot Accessories provide mounting and integration solutions for deploying NOVO portable digital X-ray equipment on EOD robot platforms. Designed to support remote X-ray operations, NOVO offers dedicated detector frames, C-Arm configurations, and multiple system integration methods for use with a variety of EOD robots.
Robot detector holders are available for the NOVO 12SF, NOVO 15WS, and NOVO 22WS digital X-ray detectors. Depending on the selected accessory and robot configuration, NOVO equipment can be integrated using the robot’s internal communications or operated independently using NOVO communications and a NOVO tablet.
NOVO offers lightweight, shock-absorbent customized robot detector frames for mounting compatible NOVO digital X-ray detectors to EOD robot platforms.
Detector frames are available for:
The NOVO detectors can be positioned in either portrait or landscape orientation when used with the appropriate robot accessories, providing additional flexibility when positioning the detector around an object or operating in confined environments.
The NOVO Robot C-Arm provides an integrated mounting arrangement designed to hold the primary digital X-ray components together on the robot.
This configuration allows the detector, X-ray source, and controller to be deployed together as part of the robot-mounted X-ray setup.
With Full Integration, the NOVO system utilizes the EOD robot’s internal communications. NOVO Touch Software can be installed on the robot’s control unit, or a separate tablet can be positioned up-range for system operation.
With Semi Integration, the EOD robot is used as a platform or “mule” to transport and position the X-ray equipment. The X-ray system remains independently controlled using NOVO communications and a NOVO tablet.
| Detector | Robot Detector Frame | Orientation |
| NOVO 12SF | Available | Portrait or Landscape |
| NOVO 15WS | Available | Portrait or Landscape |
| NOVO 22WS | Available | Portrait or Landscape |
NOVO robot accessories allow compatible portable digital X-ray equipment to be deployed using an EOD robot rather than requiring the equipment to be manually positioned. Detector orientation and integration options can be selected according to the robot platform and operational requirements.
The ability to choose between full integration and semi integration also allows agencies to determine whether the NOVO system should operate through the robot’s existing communications architecture or remain an independently controlled X-ray system carried and positioned by the robot.
NOVO states that its equipment can be integrated with many EOD robot platforms. Robot accessory and integration requirements will vary based on the NOVO detector, X-ray system, robot platform, communications configuration, and operational requirements.
