The NOVO Tactical III is a compact, backpack-deployable digital X-ray system designed for tactical, EOD, bomb squad, security, and field inspection missions where portability and rapid deployment are critical. The system combines a lightweight NOVO digital detector, NOVO Mesh wireless communications, rugged control hardware, and flexible wired or wireless operation in a highly portable configuration.
The Tactical III can be configured with either the NOVO 12SF or NOVO 15WS digital detector. The 15WS weighs only 3.5 lbs. (1.6 kg) including battery, while the smaller 12SF weighs just 2.2 lbs. (1 kg). The system supports a 10-inch 1500-NIT NOVO Bright S tablet or Android mobile-phone operation and is compatible with both NOVO Touch and XTK® software.

The Tactical III uses NOVO Mesh Technology to provide reliable wireless communications in difficult RF environments, including crowded urban areas. Compatible wireless components automatically function as relay nodes, allowing communications to be routed around obstacles and through complex environments.
