The NOVO Lookout is a lightweight 3-in-1 accessory for NOVO portable digital X-ray systems that combines organic/inorganic detection, live video, and live audio in a compact field-deployable unit.
Designed for EOD, bomb squad, tactical, and security applications, Lookout provides operators with additional information about an inspected item and its surrounding environment. The system is controlled through NOVO Touch Software and is compatible with all Golden Engineering X-ray sources, including the XRS-4.
The NOVO Lookout assists with identifying the content and nature of an inspected item by providing organic and inorganic detection. A colorized X-ray image is automatically displayed to provide additional information for image analysis.
An integrated video capability provides a live video stream of the inspected area, giving the operator visual information from the inspection location. A still image can also be captured and stored for subsequent analysis and documentation.
Lookout also provides a live audio stream from the inspected environment. This allows the operator to monitor surrounding sounds as well as hear the audible “clicks” produced by compatible Golden Engineering X-ray sources during operation.
