The NOVO 3D Arc system provides portable 3D X-ray imaging and accurate dimensional measurement for EOD, bomb squad, tactical, security, and field inspection applications. Designed for field use, the system allows operators to evaluate an inspected object without physically contacting or repositioning it.
Using NOVO’s 3D imaging technology, operators can determine the location and size of features along the X, Y, and Z axes with approximately 0.04–0.08 in. (1–2 mm) accuracy. No calibration object or fiducial reference is required for measurement.
The NOVO 3D Arc Lite provides manual 3D X-ray operation in a compact and lightweight configuration designed for maximum mobility. The Arc separates into two pieces for easier storage and transportation.

An optional advanced laser pointer is available for the 3D Arc Mesh. NOVO states that the laser provides the exact angle and point of entry, supporting precise positioning for downstream operational tasks.
The 3D Arc system creates an interactive three-dimensional X-ray view that allows operators to examine internal features and obtain measurements directly from the image. Measurement capability includes location and size along the X, Y, and Z axes with approximately 1–2 mm accuracy.
No separate calibration procedure or reference object is required for these measurements, helping simplify deployment and field operation.
Smart HD Goggles are available as an option for immediate and intuitive 3D image viewing. This provides operators with another method of examining the reconstructed X-ray data in a three-dimensional environment.
The 3D Arc system incorporates NOVO’s improved Genie image-processing algorithm, which NOVO states can extract minute image details up to four times faster, including when working with single-pulse images.
NOVO states that 3D Arc technology is upgradeable for all generations of NOVO systems, allowing existing compatible NOVO digital X-ray systems to incorporate 3D imaging capability.
The NOVO 3D Arc can be configured as either the lightweight manual 3D Arc Lite or the automated 3D Arc Mesh depending on operational requirements.
