The QinetiQ Dragon Runner® 20 (DR-20) Small Unmanned Ground Robot is a compact, lightweight, and rugged robotic platform designed to provide remote reconnaissance, inspection, and situational awareness for demanding defense and security operations. Small enough to be hand-carried, the DR-20 combines mobility, imaging, communications, and optional manipulation capabilities in a highly portable platform suited for operations in confined and congested environments.
Designed for multi-mission flexibility, the Dragon Runner 20 can operate at security checkpoints, inside sewers and drainpipes, and during EOD, IED, reconnaissance, and other ground missions. The platform supports day and night imaging, enhanced RF operating capabilities, onboard audio, and an operating range of more than 650 meters line-of-sight, helping operators assess potentially hazardous environments from a safer standoff distance.
